Florence Weinbacher Award for International Study in Nursing

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
• Declared Major: Any undergraduate or graduate nursing degree
• Must be pursuing funding for one of the following purposes: 1) an independent study project abroad with an emphasis in diabetes or cancer or 2) participation in a nursing workshop, conference, or course abroad sponsored by a professional organization or institute of higher learning (this includes UWO international clinicals)

Selection is based on applicant’s anticipated learning outcomes.

Award Payment: Semester of opportunity. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
