Robert Moore Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment Status: Full- or half-time undergraduate
- Declared Major: Chemistry (education majors are not eligible)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must have financial need based on a statement
Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate outstanding performance in biochemistry courses and to applicants with research experience.
Award Payment: Spring 2026 or Fall 2025 (depending on recipient’s graduation date). If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.

- Please upload a copy of your Academic Advisement Report. It must include the courses you are enrolled in for the current semester.
- Please submit a statement describing your chemistry research experiences while attending UW-Oshkosh. Include the semester(s) in which the research was performed, whether the research was paid or for credit, and the name of your research advisor.
- Please submit a statement describing your need for financial support to continue your education. Make sure to provide detailed information regarding the resources you have to pay for college (scholarships, loans, VA benefits, employer benefits, etc.), your efforts to fund your education (how many hours you typically work per week, how long you’ve been employed, etc), and your remaining amount of financial need.
