Gladys Roskom Excellence in Elementary Education Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: Elementary Education, must be officially admitted to the Teacher Education Program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA
• Must be student teaching in the 2026-2027 academic year

Selection is primarily based on the applicant’s desire to become an elementary school teacher and their wish to have a positive impact on young children. Preference is given to students who graduated from the Kimberly School District.

Award Payment: Semester of student teaching. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
