Richard Sieg Education Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: Education (non-degree or certificate only students aren’t eligible), must be officially admitted to the Teacher Education Program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Grade Level: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA

Selection is based primarily on academic achievement. Financial need will be of secondary consideration. In the case of equally qualified finalists, participation in community service will be taken into consideration to determine the recipients.

Award Payment: Split evenly between Fall 2026 & Spring 2027. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited. If the recipient is graduating in fall, they are eligible to receive the full award in Fall 2026.
