Sally and Bernie Killoran Education Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: Elementary or Secondary Education (in any discipline), must be officially admitted to the Teacher Education Program
• Must not be planning to student teach in the 2026-2027 academic year
• Must demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA

Selection is based on financial need. Preference will be given to students from Brown County, WI.

Award Payment: Split evenly between Fall 2026 & Spring 2027. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.

Award Renewal: Recipients are eligible to receive two award renewals beyond the initial installment provided they meet the following criteria:

• Maintain full-time enrollment at UWO
• Remain in good standing within the School of Education & Human Services
• Continue to pursue an elementary or secondary education degree
• Sufficient funding is available to support award renewal
