Dr. James Grine Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate or incoming student admitted for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
• Intended/Declared Major: Music; Preference will be given to students with flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, or bassoon as their primary applied instrument
• Recipient must participate in one or more performance groups or ensembles sanctioned by the music program and must be registered for applied study on their primary instrument

This award is given at the discretion of the UWO Music Program based on the student’s audition; no application is required. Selection is based on a high level of academic achievement, outstanding performance skills, and excellent musicianship.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
