Patti VanderLoop Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: BSN (traditional program), must be officially admitted to the Nursing Program
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA
• Must have overcome a hardship in their pursuit to become a nurse

Selection is primarily based on financial need. The applicant’s ability to overcome hardship will also be considered. Preference will be given to applicants in their third or fourth semester of the program (Junior II or Senior I).

Award Payment: One award will be paid in Spring 2026 and another in Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
