Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
- Declared Major: BSN (any program), must be officially admitted to the Nursing Program
- Must have financial need based on the FAFSA
Selection is based on financial need. First consideration is given to students whose family operates a WI farm. Second consideration is given to students from a rural area in WI (a township, village, or city with a population of less than 35,000 people). Preference is given to students who plan to return to rural WI after graduation.
Award Payment: Split evenly between Fall 2026 & Spring 2027. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
