George D. Dallas Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor George D. Dallas’s life and accomplishments and to recognize those students who share in his zest for a full life. Mr. Dallas grew up in Stevens Point, WI, was an outstanding athlete at Stevens Point High School and later was a business leader in Berlin, WI. This award is open to graduating seniors at Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) and graduates of SPASH who are currently full-time freshmen, sophomores or juniors at UW Oshkosh. Preference is given to applicants with a major or minor in human kinetics (physical education), however, others are encouraged to apply. Applicant must demonstrate leadership skills in extracurricular activities (excluding athletics). Applicant’s financial need, based on an essay, may be given special consideration. Students graduating in the current academic year are not eligible to apply.
