George Stockton Award
This award is named in honor of Dr. George Stockton, chair of the special education department from 1977 to 1983. Applicant must be an undergraduate student majoring in special education and enrolled in at least six credits at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have met Gateway I requirements and been admitted, or have applied for fall admission, to the Teacher Education Program. Selection is based on demonstration of impressive leadership and dedication to serving children with exceptional needs. Students graduating in the current academic year are not eligible to apply.
