Cheryl Mellenthin Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship was established by nursing alumna Cheryl L. Mellenthin ‘79. It is awarded to an incoming freshman accepted for full-time enrollment as undergraduate student at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have an intended major in nursing. Emphasis will be placed on applicants’ financial need, based on an essay. Preference will be given to students from Wisconsin. Recipient will be expected to work in order to help pay for educational expenses (summer or vacation work is acceptable). The recipient will receive the scholarship for a total of four years, provided s/he maintains full-time enrollment, remains in good academic standing, and is accepted into the College of Nursing. A copy of the recipient’s transcript will be provided to the donor each year.
