Sister Irene Kohne Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Sister Irene Kohne of Fond du Lac, recipient of a UW Oshkosh Honorary Doctorate of Science in 1992. Applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have completed a minimum of 30 credits and must be from Fond du Lac County. Applicant must demonstrate involvement in community service projects, charitable organizations, and/or extracurricular activities (excluding athletics), with emphasis on involvement in activities directly related to serving others. Applicants demonstrating financial need, based on an essay, and meeting all other requirements may be given special consideration in the selection process. Recipient must be returning for the full academic year following the year of application in order to receive the entire award amount. If the recipient graduates in fall, the spring installment will be forfeited.
