Dr. James Grine Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. James Grine, faculty member in the music department from 1966 to 2003. This award is given to a music major enrolled full-time at the Oshkosh campus. First preference will be given to students with flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, or bassoon designated as their primary applied instrument. Student must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, outstanding performance skills, and excellent musicianship. Recipient must participate in one or more performance groups or ensembles sanctioned by the music department and must be registered for applied study on their primary instrument. This award is given at the discretion of the UW Oshkosh Music Department based on the applicant’s audition; no application is required for the award.
