Sara M. Hughes Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Sara M. (Cartwright) Hughes ’48. Applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have a declared elementary education major and must have earned 60 or more credits. Applicant must have been admitted, or have applied for fall admission, to the Teacher Education Program. Overall grade-point average may be a consideration. Selection will be based in part on why the applicant is entering the field of elementary teaching and any special personal or career goals they may have. Other contributions to the University may be considered in the selection process. Participation in athletics will not be considered. This award will be split evenly between the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. If the recipient is not enrolled in the spring semester, the second installment will be forfeited.
