Thomas A. Plein Nursing Grant

This grant is awarded to students facing emergency situations or those with significant financial need. Applicant must be officially admitted to the College of Nursing at the time of application and must be enrolled in a nursing program. Applicant must have a need for direct educational assistance (e.g. tuition, books) or the Fall 2023 semester, whether due to an emergency situation (e.g. health crisis – personally or within their immediate family, home or apartment fire, or accident) or because of significant financial need (e.g. are in jeopardy of withdrawing for financial reasons). Emergency funding is meant to assist with a one-time expense, not ongoing financial needs. Grants will be paid out to the recipient’s student account immediately following grant approval (approximately early October).
